I Hope They Call Me On A Mission!!!
Tonight we all got together to watch Beev open his mission call. He is going to be serving in the Peoria, Illinois Mission, and will be leaving on January 6, 2010. For those of you who do not understand the relationship that we have with out brother let me explain. Tiffany, Amber, and I are all within a few years of each other in age and then there was Bryant, 5 years after the fact. Naturally we all took him on as one of our own, and we like to say he has 4 mothers. However, no matter what the difference in age I know that he has three sisters who are looking up to him as if he were the big brother. I am so proud of him and choice he has made in life to get him to this point. He has always had a strong head on his shoulders and that has made all the difference. He is a leader and not a follower and will make an excellent missionary. We are going to miss him and I know that my girls will miss him a lot, but the people in Illinois need him to bring them the true gospel. What an honor it is for my daughters to have an uncle like him to look up to. Beev you are our Hero!

First day of School
Emma started pre-school at Miss Christy's!! She was so excited to go to school. She has Morgan and Mary in her class so she has no problem going. She came home from school the first day and told me that we don't throw things and we share, rules that we have at home but now that she learned them at school they actually count. I hate that my girls are growing up so fast I feel like everytime I blink we are on to something new.
Summer Vacation
Having a farmer for a husband doesn't give me a lot of time to plan a vacation in the summer. You never know when the weather is going to be good so that you can get the hay up, so we plan at a moments notice to take a trip. We didn't have a lot of time to plan much so we decided to take the kids and go to Park City for a couple of days. The first day we stopped at seven peaks and met up with my family, the kids had a blast, Emma and Gracie both didn't want to get out of the water. But honestly I think Dane had the best time he hit all the big scary slides with Josh and Amber. He keeps asking when we can go back. Then we went to Park City to stay a few nights. I went to the outlets to do some fall shopping for the kids the next day and we did some touring around. Dane has an uncle that has a BIG house there so we went and found it and looked at all the big houses in Park City. Dane and Emma got tickets to ride the Alpine slide, but when they went to get on it started to rain so they closed it down. Emma was bummed so we went back to the hotel and swam in the pool. The next day we got up and went into Salt Lake and took the kids to the zoo. Emma loved it but Gracie loved it more. Gracie would cry when we would leave an exhibit to go to another one. After the Zoo we headed back to Holden. It was a short two night vacation but it was fun to get away and be with the Fam.

Tumble Bums
Today was Emma's little tumbling recital. Dane took half a day off so that he could come watch and Grandma Lorie was there. It is fun to watch all the kids show off for there parents. On the way there I told Emma that she could have a peice of gum if she spit it out when she got to tumbling. Well half way through she walked up to Miss Joanne and handed it to her, needless to say I was mortified (good thing miss joanne is a relative).
Best Friends Worst Enemies
Emma, Emma, Emma, she just can't leave her little sister alone. I am going to let you in on how a typical day in our house goes. Gracie wakes up usually before Emma and from the time i get her out of bed until Emma wakes up all she wants is to find her big sis. When Emma rolls out of bed Gracie is so excited she attacks her. Gracie will let her hold her and love on her for about 15 minutes and then my day begins. Emma starts into, "I want to feed Gracie, can I hold her mom, I'm just taking her into my room to play." This is how the rest of the day goes, a battle between the three of us. The worst part is Gracie has learned that if she cries when Emma comes near I will come to her beacon call. By bath time Gracie is sleepy and she loves for her big sis to hold her before they go to bed. One things for sure I don't know what I would do with out them.
