Having a farmer for a husband doesn't give me a lot of time to plan a vacation in the summer. You never know when the weather is going to be good so that you can get the hay up, so we plan at a moments notice to take a trip. We didn't have a lot of time to plan much so we decided to take the kids and go to Park City for a couple of days. The first day we stopped at seven peaks and met up with my family, the kids had a blast, Emma and Gracie both didn't want to get out of the water. But honestly I think Dane had the best time he hit all the big scary slides with Josh and Amber. He keeps asking when we can go back. Then we went to Park City to stay a few nights. I went to the outlets to do some fall shopping for the kids the next day and we did some touring around. Dane has an uncle that has a BIG house there so we went and found it and looked at all the big houses in Park City. Dane and Emma got tickets to ride the Alpine slide, but when they went to get on it started to rain so they closed it down. Emma was bummed so we went back to the hotel and swam in the pool. The next day we got up and went into Salt Lake and took the kids to the zoo. Emma loved it but Gracie loved it more. Gracie would cry when we would leave an exhibit to go to another one. After the Zoo we headed back to Holden. It was a short two night vacation but it was fun to get away and be with the Fam.
Dane and I were married on June 4, 2004.Dane works for the state road and on the farm. The state road gives us our benefits that we need, but he puts more time in on the farm. After all the farm is his second love (I like to think that I am his first).I am so lucky to be able to stay home and be a wife and a mom. We have two little girls, Emma is 4, and Gracie is 1. They are light of our whole wold, and as much as I love them they are daddy's girls for sure.
